NEJAC Subcommittees
NEJAC subcommittees are formed to deal with a specific topic and to facilitate the conduct of the business of NEJAC.The subcommittees are bound by the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) of October 16, 1972 and each has its own Designated Federal Officer (DFO). The subcommittees meet independently of the full NEJAC and present their findings to the NEJAC for review. Subcommittees cannot make recommendations independently to EPA.
