EO-1 User's Guide

Welcome to the EO-1 Data User Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide a single source of basic information for EO-1 data users regarding the acquisition, processing, and utilization of the EO-1 data that is distributed by USGS EROS Data Center (EDC).

While some sections of this guide will cover the basic design and function of the EO-1 spacecraft and its sensors, the majority of this content is devoted to user-related topics such as orbit and data coverage, scene scheduling, and data output.

The EO-1 Data Users Guide is intended to be an evolving document, and will follow an incremental release schedule. Individual sections are being posted as they become available. Sections that are not yet complete will list an estimated release date, along with information and/or links to known alternative resources (if available).
