New and Revised Policy Directives and Required Procedures:

This notice reflects changes to ADS Chapter 110 pertaining to Reasonable Accommodation. ADS Chapter 110 contains the policy and procedures that govern USAID's process for requesting reasonable accommodation. All Federal agencies must make reasonable accommodation to the documented physical or mental limitations of a qualified applicant or employee with a disability unless the agency demonstrates that the accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of its program.

New and Revised Policy Directives and Required Procedures:

The Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation (No FEAR) Act was signed into law by President George W. Bush on May 15, 2002. It became effective on October 1, 2003. The purpose of this Act is to require Federal agencies to be more accountable for violations of antidiscrimination and whistleblower protection laws.

This Policy Notice relates to ADS 542, Planning and Budgeting forInformation Technology (IT) Resources. Based on cost recovery (availability of funding), revisions by the Department of State to their IRM Strategic Plan, re-alignment of the IRM Strategic Plan initiatives with the USAID Strategic Plan, or implementation of other Federal initiatives that require alteration of the Plan, IRM will conduct a review of its IRM Strategic Plan and update it, as necessary.
