The ICAOT is located in Cleveland, Ohio in recognition of the city's pioneering role in the development of artificial organ technology and operated under the trusteeship of the International Society for Artificial Organs. The ICMT, a subsidiary of the International Center for Artificial Organs and Transplantation, displays artifacts from the ICAOT collection in exhibits located at the George Bush Heart Center and Cullen Pavilion of Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. |
