Polio Eradication: Acknowledgements

This photo documentary is a tribute to the millions of health workers, volunteers, international organizations, aid agencies, nongovernmental agencies, and scores of interested individuals who collaborate in partnership for the world’s children.

The author would like to acknowledge the contributions of:

  • USAID, for the opportunity to coordinate this important project
  • Staff of the Population, Health and Nutrition Information Project, especially analyst Adrienne Cox, senior editor Chris Wharton, graphic designer Matthew Baek, communications director Sarah Melendez, web editor Joshua Yospyn, analyst Bonnie Ohri, Megan Fotheringham, and photo specialist Yvette Robinson for their patience, insights and editorial advice
  • WHO, UNICEF, and CDC staff for their comments and suggestions
  • To my husband Neil, family and friends who don’t complain of my absences and support my efforts wholeheartedly
