Research Project: FIELD STUDIES ON CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF FUSARIUM HEAD BLIGHT IN SOUTH DAKOTA Project Number: 0500-00053-001-95
Project Type: Grant

Start Date: Apr 22, 2004
End Date: Apr 21, 2009

Objective:
Initiate field studies on chemical and biological control of Fusarium head blight in South Dakota to evaluate products and methods for consistency in performance over a wide number of environments and across grain types affected by Fusarium head blight.

Approach:
Fungicide trials will be established on hard red spring wheat and hard red winter wheat at multiple sites in South Dakota and will reflect uniform fungicide treatment and uniform biological control treatments for FHB.
