Research Project: DEVELOPMENT OF FIRST WHOLE GENOME SPECIFIC ANTIBODY ARRAY FOR YEAST ANALYSIS

Location: Bioproducts and Biocatalysis Research

Project Number: 3620-41000-121-02
Project Type: Nonfunded Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Jul 25, 2005
End Date: Jul 24, 2008

Objective:
To make whole genome specific antibody array for yeast analysis.

Approach:
To use the workcell from USDA to express cDNA library from yeast. We will then use the resulting protein set to inoculate chickens generating polyclonal antibodies, followed by chip arraying of antibodies and reading lysates incubated with resulting antibody chips. Cooperation with Hudson Control, Inc. Harvard Institute of Proteomics, GenWay Biotech, Inc., Biacore, Inc., WJT Tech, Inc. and LifeSensors will result in a complete system. Adding DOE, Argonne National Laboratory as Cooperator.
