Research Project: ANALYSIS OF CORN TISSUES

Objective:
To quantify the levels of diamine putresine and other higher polymanies from root and leaf samples collected from corn plants which were grown under different levels of potassium.

Approach:
To have samples of corn tissues analyzed for polyamines. Approximately 250 samples will be shipped to Durham, New Hampshire, for analysis from Beltsville, Maryland.
