Research Project: CONSERVATION EFFECTS ASSESSMENT PROJECT - GRAZINGLANDS

Objective:
Provide quantitative information and analytical tools that can be used to evaluate the impact of selected grazingland conservation practices on natural resource values.

Approach:
Develop the rangeland plant growth model (ALAMANAC model). Develop the mechanisms to integrate the ALAMANAC model with the RHEM model to develop a comprehensive hillslope scale model for rangelands in association with Tucson, AZ. Develop a rangeland database to run SWAT for the western United States in association with staff at Tucson, AZ.
