Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research project is to collect populations of the cotton bollworm and tobacco budworm to be evaluated for resistance to Bt insecticides.
Approach:
At each of the sites in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia adult moths of the tobacco budworms and cotton bollworms will be collected and sent to USDA-ARS-SIMRU during the entire growing season.
