Junk Mail

Related Topics

Every household has, at some time, received junk mail. In some cases "junk mail" can be useful and informative. However, no matter the content, over 44% of the junk mail we receive enters into the waste stream before it has even been opened or read.

What You Can Do:

There are ways of combating the amount of junk mail entering our landfills. One way is to recycle the paper. Contact your local municipality to find information on recycling in your area.

You can also contact organizations which can take your name off of certain mailing lists.
