Objective:
This Agreement deals specifically with the storage of rare, sensitive, threatened and/or endangered plant species identified by the Center for Plant Conservation as being in need of conservation.

Approach:
Under this Agreement the Center of Plant Conservation member organizations collect seed or other propagules from the identified species and send them to the National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation for safe long-term storage.
