Welcome to Region 7's Air Program Page

The Air Program is responsible for working with state, local, and tribal agencies, industry, and the public to ensure that air quality in our four state region remains high. To help make sure this happens, our group is involved in many aspects of air pollution control including new source construction permit review, operating permits, air toxics, acid rain, CFCs, technology review, and mobile sources. For more information on these topics and other points of interest, proceed to the individual sites listed below.

If you are visiting our web site from outside of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, or Nebraska and have questions about air quality in your area, we encourage you to talk first with your EPA Regional Representative. To find what EPA region you are located in, click here. From there, you can link to the region of interest.

We hope you'll find the information interesting and informative. In the meantime, we hope to hear from you if you have any questions or suggestions for improving this page.
