Research Project: MAXIMIZATION OF LOCATION DEPENDENT PESTICIDE DEPOSITION FOR OPTIMAL POTATO INSECT DAMAGE CONTROL

Objective:
Determine how to maximize the beneath-the-canopy pesticide deposits in order to effectively limit the insect damage to sweet potatoes grown on small farms in the Mississippi Delta.

Approach:
The trial will be established on small plot, replicated tests in Mississippi. Pesticides will be applied using six basic methods and evaluted in terms of insect control.
