Land
There is a variety of EPA programs and laws that address land including Brownfields, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (otherwise known as Superfund), and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (otherwise known as RCRA). While the laws differ depending on the status of a specific site, the intent is the same: to restore land for current and future generations. This may involve the removal of a specific source of contamination or a large scale remediation of a contaminated building or public space.
