Objective:
Evaluate the efficacy of soil fumigants that are alternatives to methyl bromide following repeated applications to strawberry production fields.

Approach:
Collaborations will be established with cooperating growers to evaluate alternative fumigants in California strawberry production following repeated applications for three-four successive years. Field trials will follow yield throughout the season as well as weed control so an economic cost benefit analysis can be calculated. Documents SCA with UC Davis.
