Objective:
Provide support and cooperate with the University of Minnesota to sponsor the Short Rotation Crops International Conference: Biofuels, Bioenergy, & Bioproducts from Sustainable Agriculture & Forest Crops, in Minneapolis, MN, August 18-22, 2008.

Approach:
To provide forums for issues directly addressing agriculture production and woody crop production, while addressing integrated issues through specially designed plenary and concurrent sessions. Also, there will be an effort to broaden the involvement and support for the conference beyond IEA. Most importantly, there will be joint field tours to both agricultural and forestry production operations with an emphasis on working landscapes, cultural practices commonalities, and opportunities for integration.
