How can I work at one of the GSA Telework Centers?

  1. Contact your Agency Telework Coordinator for any agency-specific guidelines or procedures.
  2. View the interactive map to find the Telework Center that is right for you.
  3. Contact the Telework Center Director to determine availability and to obtain specific information about the Telework Center you select.
  4. Register through the Telework OnLine Billing System (TOLBS).

Do I need to Register?
Before you can work at a Telework Center, you must first register in TOLBS (see link on the left).  Please make sure all required fields are completed and then submit your application.  TOLBS will forward the application to your supervisor for approval and further processing.  Therefore, it’s important to make sure your supervisor’s email address is correct.  During the application process, you’ll receive several notifications from TOLBS regarding your application’s status.  TOLBS will send you and the Center Director an email stating your application is complete and ready to be funded.  Congratulations!

Is it easy to use TOLBS?
Yes.  If it’s your first time registering to work at a Telework Center, you must first sign up in TOLBS.  This is a very easy process.  Once completed, you will receive an email confirming your registration.  Also keep in mind, all supervisors and certifying officials must also sign up in TOLBS.

Once I have registered and been approved to work at the Telework Center, what’s next?

Who is responsible for my time and attendance?

I am currently working at a Telework Center.  Must I annually update my TOLBS registration?
Yes.  Each fiscal year, you must annually renew your telework agreement and update your TOLBS registration which includes approval by your supervisor and approving/certifying official.

I need to change or cancel my registration, what do I do?
