Abstract
|
United States Geological Survey, Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
Chief Scientist: Rob Thieler. Seismic and Sidescan Sonar data
(Navigation-DGPS, Navigation-Hypack, Seismic reflection,
Seismic reflection-airgun, Seismic reflection-boomer,
Sidescan-Klien, Sidescan-Submetrix, Need the standard suite
of seafloor mapping gear (sidescan,, swath, 512i, boomer).
Guns and related gear should be shipped to NC,, and will be
used during the latter part of the cruise if needed., (Re-mob
might require a crane to remove one of the vans and put the,
compressor aboard. Date of re-mob TBD by results with
boomer/512i,, weather, oracular pronouncement, etc.),
Submetrix should be configured to run initially with the,
234s. Please bring the 117s for potential work over the shelf
break, (water depth 60-120 m).) of field activity 08001
(M-1-08-NR) in Diamond Shoals, Cape Hatteras, North Carolina,
United States, North America, North Atlantic from 06/22/2008
