The Compliance Assessment and Media Programs Division (CAMPD) provides the focal point of EPA expertise for all technical aspects of the programs within the Division's media programs and sectors, and is responsible for development of compliance analyses and guidance for relevant media programs; regulatory applicability determinations for the Air program; development of standards for measuring pollutants on a media basis; development of overall program guidance for compliance monitoring and inspector issues for Regions and states; development of interpretive guidance and policies to assist the regulated community in its compliance efforts; establishment of media information management requirements; development of media-specific inspector training and technical assistance programs; institution of compliance promotion and self-auditing policies and programs; regulatory development support; development of media pollution prevention strategies; and grant and contract management. provides compliance monitoring support for EPA's inspectors and is responsible for compliance the to regulatory programs such as the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
