Current Research Interests

Movement of water, heat, and mass in soil; exchange processes between soil and atmosphere; carbon balance and net greenhouse gas emissions in contrasting agricultural systems; cover cropping and companion cropping; developing farming practices that increase the net primary productivity of agriculture while improving water quality.
