The State profiles and maps present information on freight movements. FAF1 State Profiles provide estimates for 1998 and forecasts for 2010 and 2020. FAF2 State Profiles present estimates for 2002 and will include forecasts through 2035. Due to improved methods and expanded data coverage in FAF2, its statistics are not comparable to those in the original Freight Analysis Framework (FAF). Maps are currently available only for FAF1. FAF2 maps will be prepared and posted later this year.
