Technical Abstract: The cotton genome database, CottonDB, is a publicly available resource for cotton genome research ranging from the collections of Gossypium germplasm, molecular markers, to the functions of cotton genes. Curation of CottonDB is currently maintained in our Research Unit(http://algodon.tamu.edu/cottondb.html), and it is online as part of the USDA-ARS, Plant Genome Database System (http://ars-genome.cornell.edu). We will present the current status of CottonDB and will offer an opportunity for discussion of any data types to be included for the cotton research community.
