Stationary Source Emissions Characterization

Research and development of models to estimate emissions from dynamic oil and gas industry and commercial sources is the objective of this program. ECPB and the American Petroleum Institute and the Gas Research Institute have jointly developed and validated models to estimate emissions from glycol dehydrators and storage tanks. Estimation of solvent emissions from commercial establishments such as auto body refinishing shops is also a focus of the program.
