This IU announces the issuance of AAPD 06-11, which is effective as of 07/20/2006. This AAPD replaces CIB 96-19, CIB 98-19, CIB 98-24 and AAPD 05-10, and adds new Home Leave language for U.S. Personal Services Contracts (USPSCs) hired under Appendix D of the AIDAR.

On August 4, 2006, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), within the U.S. Department of Treasury, reissued a license to the State Department's Economic Bureau and to USAID, authorizing grantees and contractors of State/Africa and USAID to perform all transactions necessary for the provision of humanitarian and economic support, as defined and authorized in the State/Africa or USAID grant or contract, in support of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, Darfur Peace Agreement, and in certain areas of Sudan.

ADS Chapter 548 Program-Funded Information Technology (IT) Reviews

This revised ADS chapter has been reformatted, edited, and modified in its entirety. The title of this chapter has been changed from Program-Funded Information Technology (IT) to Program-Funded Information Technology (IT) Reviews. This chapter includes seven new external mandatory references and five new internal mandatory references. This ADS chapter has been revised to include an Early Review in the IT Project Life Cycle and modified to include notification to EGAT and PPC of functional requirements as ADS 548 IT Reviews are received during the Full Review Process.

ADS Chapter 501 - The Automated Directives System (ADS)

Every U.S. Government agency is required to have and maintain a directives program. The regulations within this system must be current and written in plain language.The ADS (Automated Directives System) is USAID’s directives program. Both the USAID ADS Internet pages and the USAID ADS intranet site constitute the “official” ADS.
