18 August 2006 This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows a
ring marking the location of a nearly-filled, nearly-buried impact crater
on the martian northern plains. Remnants of bright, seasonal frost occur
in some polygonal cracks on the plain.
