Airports

The official site for the Chicago airports provides information beyond just flight arrivals and departures. Make sure to check this site before coming to or leaving Chicago. Midwest weather can change within minutes and cause unexpected flight delays or cancellations.

Public Transportation

Buses:

CTA Bus fare is $2.25. No transfers issued when paying with cash.

Subway:

The subway is actually an above- and below- ground system that courses around and through Chicago; the elevated portion is known as the "L" or "El". There are 8 lines in total (Blue, Red, Brown, Orange, Green, Purple, Pink and Yellow). "L" fare is $2.00. No transfers issued when paying with cash.

Taxis:

Cabs are readily available on most downtown Chicago streets. Charges are by meter. Ask for the (southeast) corner of Clark and Jackson.

The train stations nearest the EPA office are Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station, La Salle Street Station, Van Buren Street Station, and Randolph Street Station.
