SPECIALTIES:

Geologic field mapping, stratigraphy and sedimentology, sandstone petrography and depositional environments are some of my fundamental skills and specialities. Other skills are related to GIS, computer applications, correcting PostScript and printing problems, database preparation for web, teaching GIS/and computer skills to others, providing technical support, finding new solutions to map production, testing new applications, constructing metadata, digital reviewing datasets for our project, and maintaining a publications database.

CURRENT WORK:

Karen's current work includes

Geologic field mapping the Carlton, Oregon 7.5' quadrangle.

Providing digital map production techniques and support for project, team, and other teams.

Researching the integration of GIS, desktop publishing programs, web solutions, and presentation graphics.

Updating our website.
