• Mapping the geology of Bainbridge Island and the Suquamish area, west of Seattle
• Mapping landscape surfaces (geomorphology) throughout the Salish Lowland
• Helping upgrade the regional elevation data set for the Salish Lowland via participation in the Seattle Area Natural Hazards initiative , the Puget Sound LIDAR Consortium, and collaborative work with UW colleagues.
• Completing 1:100,000 and smaller scale maps of the North Cascades, with Rowland Tabor
• Compiling 1995-1999 field work in the Bellingham 30x60-minute quadrangle at 1:100,000 scale
• Collaborating on GIS aspects of the GeoMapNW with Elizabeth Barnett, Derek Booth, and Kathy Troost.
• Providing regional geology expertise to earthquake hazards investigations in western Washington, collaborating with other USGS staff, WaDGER staff and the Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network.
• Working with Elizabeth Barnett, Karen Meagher, Craig Weaver (all USGS) and Don Ballantyne (EQE Inc.) on lifelines maps for the I-5 corridor.
• Investigating the paleogeography of the northwestern Cordillera (North Cascades and western British Columbia) with Brian Mahoney (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire) and Randy Enkin (Geological Survey of Canada)
