New Biological Methodologies and Products for Crop Health

The Crop Bioprotection Research Unit (CBP) develops natural biological pest control agents to reduce exposure of the environment and food supply to potentially harmful chemical pesticides; and develops methods of producing and delivering these control agents in practical applications.

Fundamental activities of microbes, insects and plants that provide bioprotection are identified and used by researchers of varied scientific disciplines to design new biological methods, processes and products that foster environmental health.
