Chemicals on Reporting Rules (CORR) and Chemicals Regulated Under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)

The CORR file is no longer available.

The Chemicals on Reporting Rules files were originally created to support the internal needs of the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT). They were intended to serve as an informational aid only and were never intended for use by industry or the public as a compliance tool. The files have been removed from the website to review them for data quality and to evaluate their utility and potential use.

The authoritative sources listing which chemicals are regulated under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) are the Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Register. Both can be found on the Government Printing Office website at http://www.gpoaccess.gov. The table below is also provided as a reference to selected portions of TSCA. It is not considered a legally binding or authoritative source for regulatory compliance.

Finally, more up-to-date partial listings of chemicals regulated under TSCA can be found on the TSCA Chemical Testing website on the Section 4 and 12(b) pages. The Section 4 Chemical Testing Sunset page is located at http://www.epa.gov/opptintr/chemtest/sunset.htm. The main 12(b) Export Notification page is located at http://www.epa.gov/opptintr/chemtest/main12b.htm. Section 12(b) is triggered by selected rules issued under sections 4, 5, 6, and 7 of TSCA. Section 8 chemicals are included only if they fall under the coverage of one of those sections.
