(Diadromous, Freshwater, and Saltwater) - Fish, aquatic vertebrates which are covered in scales and equipped with fins (paired and unpaired), are found in all types of aquatic environments ranging from freshwater to saltwater. Diadromous fish are those that travel between fresh and saltwater (Pacific salmon, for example, which is an anadromous fish that breeds in freshwater but lives in the sea, mostly). Monitoring the abundances of the prey fish populations is critical to managing the lake ecosystem. Presently, salmonines are stocked into the lake to supplement and sustain their populations within the lake.
