The SunWise goal is to help as many people as we can achieve sun safe
behavior. Due to the growing popularity of the Program and increasing
production costs, we find it necessary to implement distribution parameters.
Our expectation is that one Tool Kit will be placed in a central location
within the school, such as the library or media center, where teachers
can share and make copies of the materials. Exceptions will be considered
on a case by case basis, allowing for a maximum of 5 kits per school,
based on the following:
- Access to the centrally located kit is difficult and will impede teaching.
- The student population is large, and/or multiple classes or grade
levels are participating, consequently multiple kits will greatly facilitate
effective involvement.
- Multiple educators plan to use the kit frequently throughout the school
year.
SunWise will gladly provide supplemental materials free-of-charge (Frisbees,
fact-sheets, posters, videos, etc.) to ensure that your school can adequately
implement the program.
If, for some reason, your school or classroom needs to be exempted from
the one kit per school rule, please contact us for further assistance
