SURFACE WATER

Streamflow runoff for New Hampshire and Vermont during September was generally within the normal range except for the Merrimack, Saco, and Piscataqua Basins of New Hampshire, which were above-normal.

Groundwater conditions at the end of September were normal to above-normal in 92% of the monitoring wells and below-normal in 8% of the wells across New Hampshire and Vermont.
