Research Project: EVALUATION OF NEW PEARL MILLET HYBRIDS

Objective:
Identifying superior performing experimental pearl millet hybrids in multilocation trials in the coastal plain and piedmont regions of Georgia to support new variety release. Transfer new technology to the agribusiness community through a field day at Newton, GA.

Approach:
Thirteen experimental hybrids will be assessed in replicated field trials for yield, damage by diseases and insects, and agronomic traits.
