Adriaan van Spiegel
The plates for Casserio’s theatrum anatomicum were printed
after his death in works attributed to him and his pupil Adriaan
van Spiegel. Here, a pregnant woman is dissected so that the flaps
resemble petals of a flower, with the baby at the center.
