Ardis and Frank Greatorex enjoy the retirement luncheon.

A good time was had by all at the retirement party for Ardis Greatorex on October 11th. Ardis officially retired
on September 28th after almost 13 years as the Administrative Officer at the USGS in Woods Hole. The festivities
were held at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth. After a lovely lunch, a small choir (led by Tom Aldrich) sang their
well wishes for Ardis and her husband Frank (also recently retired). Our Team Chief Scientist, Debbie Hutchinson,
Scott Tilley (AOReston), and Brad Butman (master of ceremonies) spoke of their appreciation for Ardis' service
to the USGS. Pat Mullan (AOSt. Petersburg) was also on hand. After the lunch, song, gift giving, and speeches,
the event was topped off by Ardis' "Ode to Woods Hole" poem. We wish Ardis well in her retirement.
