Under Secretary Mancuso Discusses Dual-Use Export Controls and U.S. Economic Competitiveness With NYC CEOs

On August 6, 2007, Under Secretary Mario Mancuso addressed a CEO Roundtable in New York City, hosted by the New York Export Assistance Center of the U.S. Commercial Service. As part of ongoing BIS efforts to reach out to industry, Under Secretary Mancuso spoke about dual-use export controls and the role of export controls in enhancing U.S. economic competitiveness and innovation in a dynamic global marketplace.

In addition to answering questions about the recommendations of the Coalition for Security and Competitiveness and the recently published China policy rule, the CEO Roundtable provided industry executives with an opportunity to share their views on U.S. export controls and the impact on their businesses.
