Under Secretary Mario Mancuso Discusses "Economic Power" at the Naval Postgraduate School

On March 10, 2008, Under Secretary Mancuso delivered remarks as part of the Secretary of the Navy Guest Lecture Series for faculty and students at the Naval Postgraduate School, the U.S. Navy's premier post graduate learning institution.

Under Secretary Mancuso spoke about the importance of developing a framework to evaluate the role of economic competitiveness and innovation in enhancing U.S. national security, particularly in a post Cold-War environment characterized by globalization, increased connectivity and technology leveling, and economic interdependence.
