Boston Freight Flow Maps - Water

Map of North America showing 1998 freight flows by water, with more than 1 million tons shown flowing from the Boston region to each of the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Between 500,000 and 1 million tons flow from Boston to each of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Virginia. Network flows by water also are shown, with most of the commodity flows by water along the East Coast from Boston to New York and New Jersey and some along the East and Gulf Coasts from Boston to Delaware, Virginia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas.
