The USDA-ARS Corn Host Plant Resistance Research Unit cooperates extensively with ARS scientists in other locations, with university scientists in several states, with scientists in international research institutions, and with scientists working with commercial seed companies.  Sharing resources, information, and ideas with other researchers is critical to the success of our research program.  We currently have three Specific Cooperative Agreements with other institutions: (1) Identification of Proteins Associated with Aflatoxin Resistance in Maize, Mississippi State University; (2) Development of Aflatoxin Resistant Corn Germplasm Adapted to the Southern USA, Texas A&M University; and (3) Multiple Stress Tolerant Corn Hybrids to Reduce Aflatoxin Contamination, Texas A&M University.
