Honopou Stream, Maui (16587000)

The Honopou Stream gage, located at altitude of 1,208 ft near Huelo, has been operated since 1910 (gage photo). There are no diversions upstream of the gaging station. This gaging station is operated by James Nelson of the Maui field office and is equipped with a satellite transmitter delivering updates every hour.
