Scientists at the NEPSWL work with various agricultural industries to ensure relevant research programs of highest priority to customers of those research programs.

The National Cold Water Marine Aquaculture Center also works with various aquacultural industries in their efforts to build a center for research.  The staff works very closely with the staff of the University of Maine in a collaborative effort.

The facilities for the NCWMAC have just begun to take shape, and their new research program has also newly begun.
