Title: City in a Box: A New Paradigm for Sustainable Living
P3 researchers designed a live-work environment for 50,000 people by using energy from renewable sources: wind, solar, and biomass. The building is attempting to grow most of its own food, provide all of its energy needs, and manage all of its own wastes. Geothermal resources are used to meet the building's heating and cooling needs.
