McCullagh pointed out that the success of the project was due to the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders during the implementation, and especially thanked the U.S. European Command, Sheki Education Department, Kish Municipality, and Kish Citizens for their contributions. Karas thanked the Kish community for their warm welcome, noting that the financial contribution to the school projects is a direct investment to their children’s future and emphasizing that the U.S. European Command will continue to support similar initiatives in the future.

The ceremony concluded with a presentation of a poster that recorded the progress of the project and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, guests toured the six newly-constructed school rooms.
