Joint USAID/SUAL Program Attracts New Partner

The joint USAID/Siberian Ural Aluminum Company (SUAL) program, Environment and Public Health in Regions with Aluminum Plants, has recently attracted the multinational corporation Colgate-Palmolive as a new partner for the “My Pretty Smile,” activity in the Nadvoitsy Settlement in the Segezhskiy District of Kareliya.  The activity focuses on improving dental health among preschoolers and schoolchildren in the settlement. Colgate-Palmolive will support “My Pretty Smile” for two years and provide one-third of the toothpaste and toothbrushes needed for the program. Under the partnership, Colgate-Palmolive will also provide materials and supplies for the opening of special dental-disease prevention rooms at three kindergartens, a school, and an outpatient clinic in Nadvoitsy Settlement.
