For some of us, posting number 2529 came across blank on the screen. This is what it said:

Daphne:  certainly agree that adult ed is being pushed out of the literacy focus. I just had this conversation with our local senator who didn't seem to understand why I was upset. Reading is reading, isn't it, no matter what it is called. It seems really important that there be some kind of protest about this. Count me in.
