NIST:  A Great Place to Work!

If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career in science, technology, or administration, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) just might be the right place for you.  Approximately 2,500 NIST staffers work at our 234 hectare (578 acre) site in Gaithersburg, MD, while about 350 work at our site in Boulder, CO, and about 15 staffers work at the Hollings Marine Laboratory in Charleston, SC.  All sites offer opportunities for students and/or postdoctoral researchers.   We have job opportunities in the physical and engineering sciences as well as administration and support positions.
