Sample Block Design

The application of the BIB spiraling approach resulted in the configuration of booklets as shown below. In this design, each block appeared with the same frequency—in six of the 26 booklets—and each block was paired one time with every other block. Position effects were also controlled at the block level, since each block appeared twice in each of the possible positions in the booklets—first, middle, and last.
