Life Cycle Costing (Vehicle Utilization & Depreciation)
Track and report on critical fleet management data including accounting information, performance and repair histories, maintenance histories, historical usage, location assignment, technical specifications, operating information, multiple warranties, fuel and lubricant usage and unit downtime.
Replacement Modeling
Track capital costs, including purchase amounts, change orders and modifications to comply with minimum requirements or replacement order criteria. Replacement modeling based on mileage, age, condition, fuel consumption and maintenance costs as well as availability of replacement funds.
Equipment Acquisition and Disposal
Create budgets for new unit acquisition, monitor delivery schedules, generate purchase orders for new unit acquisitions. Receive new units into inventory, prepare new units for active service and record final sale proceeds.
Equipment Availability and Tracking
Users have the ability to report on equipment needs and availability by class, department, and time-of-day. Users can be notified if time of service or work order limits have been exceeded.
Parts Inventory Control
Supports automatic parts ordering, calculation of inventory stock levels, warehouse-to-warehouse stock transfers, inventory reviews and purchase order generation
The "Unit Main" frame contains specific information about individual assets. Units are defined in M5 as those assets which require maintenance tracking. Units need not be strictly vehicles, but can also be compressors, radios or anything the
user defines as an asset to be managed.
